Transportation for America
Transportation for America is a broad coalition of housing, business, environmental, public health, transportation, equitable development and other organizations working to give families and individuals greater and more appealing transportation options. We seek to align our national, state and local transportation policies with an array of issues like economic opportunity, climate change, energy security, health, housing and community development. Transportation for America was founded in 2008 by Smart Growth America and Reconnecting America. For more information, visit transportationforamerica.org.
National Complete Streets Coalition
In communities across the country, a movement is growing to complete the streets and make them safer, more livable and welcoming to everyone. Whether young or old, motorist or bicyclist, walker or wheelchair user, bus rider or shopkeeper, a complete streets policy means transportation planners and engineers design and operate the entire roadway with all users in mind.
