GOOGLESGA

Debates over how our neighborhoods, towns and cities grow and develop can be among the most difficult and contentious many of us will ever confront. After all, nothing less than our quality of life is at stake. That makes it all the more important that advocates for improved development practices use care in explaining how and why smart growth solutions can help create better communities. Below are links to two resources that can help.

The first is a PowerPoint presentation developed by Smart Growth America that comes with slides, charts, graphs and an annonated script that can help you in your own presentations on the topic.

The second is a set of tools produced by the Biodiversity Project, in consultation with Smart Growth America and a number of our partners, based on research into Americans’ perspectives on growth issues.

We hope to add more content to this page and refine our existing material as we receive feedback from the field. (That would be you.) So please let us know what you experience, and check back here from time to time.
