Yoni Preuss is a Policy Associate at Transportation for America. In this role, he advances T4America’s transportation priorities, advocates for better passenger rail, and strengthens the built environment.

Before joining Transportation for America, Yoni was a Policy Fellow with the Metropolitan Abundance Project. There, he collaborated with advocates, public servants, academics, and practitioners to promote innovative state-level transportation project selection processes. This project deepened his commitment to improved and innovative transportation policy and funding. 

Yoni is a two-time Pitt Panther. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh and his Master of Public Administration, with a concentration in urban affairs and planning, from Pitt's Graduate School of Public and International Affairs.
