On Tuesday, February 18, LOCUS and Smart Growth America are launching the National Opportunity Zones Marketplace to facilitate and spur equitable smart growth development across the country, with a focus on Opportunity Zones.
Thanks to support from the Rockefeller Foundation, the Marketplace will grow into a dynamic community of public and private sector voices actively pursuing Opportunity Zone projects, equitable development ideas, and an overall approach to development that brings benefits to everyone, inside and outside of Opportunity Zones.
Anyone can join the Marketplace, create a profile, add new projects, search for development opportunities, follow cities, developers, or projects, and start conversations with other officials or developers.
But LOCUS members have some special benefits. Join LOCUS—our coalition of responsible real estate developers and investors—and you can add your projects and also have them featured in the new Opportunity Zones Marketplace.

The aspect of the Marketplace we’re the most excited about is a new, national hub where social impact developers and investors from across the country (like our LOCUS members) can come and look for projects and places to park their patient capital and partner with cities to invest in equitable development.
