This position requires a motivated, intuitive, detail-oriented person with excellent writing, research, and organizational skills who is able to work with many types of people and organizations. Candidates should have a strong interest in transportation, equity, and public health. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and an educational background or work experience in academic research urban planning, public policy, public health, or social justice. Masters student or Masters degree in urban planning, public policy, or public health preferred.
The Internship comes with a monthly stipend. In addition, they will receive six days of paid sick leave or vacation for the 6-month fellowship and will have paid leave on all federal holidays that occur within the tenure at SGA.
This position is full-time, 40 hours a week. A commitment of six months is required.
