The NEOSCC planning area includes 12 counties as well as cities such as Youngstown, Akron, Canton, and Cleveland. Members of the consortium include city governments, planning agencies, and other public entities. Jeff Anderle, NEOSCC’s Communications and Engagement Manager, emphasizes the collaborative nature of the Consortium and its focus on communities’ and citizens’ input: “We’re starting to see collaboration happening in government because resources are getting tight, and… collaboration will become essential. People are waking up and coming to the table.”
