Funding safe streets for all

Road design has a huge impact on how people are connected to everyday destinations like work, the grocery store, and recreational spaces. Versailles, Kentucky is a small town that prides itself on making sure its residents can get from point A to point B, but barriers like funding can quickly deter a city’s ability to improve road-user experiences. This video features city officials in Versailles who share the story of how they have evolved their understanding of Complete Streets and have utilized federal funding to tackle some of the improvements needed to bolster accessibility for their community.
