Senior Policy Manager

Kristina Curtiss

Kristina Curtiss is the Senior Policy Manager for Transportation for America. In this role, she leads policy work that supports Transportation for America’s key priorities.

Kristina has worked in transportation policy roles spanning from local government policy innovation to federal government policy implementation. She supported pedestrian and roadway safety policy, project design, and capacity building on the Seattle Department of Transportation’s Vision Zero team. She has also supported the United States Department of Transportation’s implementation of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law while working as a contractor on projects like the Federal Highway Administration's Safe Streets and Roads for All technical assistance center and the Federal Transit Administration’s safety policy and regulation program.

She received her Master of Public Policy from the University of Michigan’s Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy and her Bachelor of Public Affairs from Wayne State University.
